Cancer Patient Running 1,800 Miles From Florida to Washington, D.C.

It was a daunting day in March of 2013 when ultramarathon runner, teacher, and track coach Brian Thomas was faced with a grim prognosis. After running for the benefit of others with cancer, he was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic melanoma—the deadliest form of skin cancer—and was told he had three months left to live.

Chris Squire loses his battle with leukemia.

Terrible news for Yes fans and lovers of great music. Chris Squire has lost his battle with leukemia and has died. A true giant is no longer with us. RIP

Vivian Campbell’s cancer has returned.

Vivian Campbell’s cancer has returned. I’m immensely sorry this has happened to him. Again.

Singer Joe Cocker is dead at 70

Unfortunately, second post of the day to bring attention to another death. Joe Cocker, died at 70 battling lung cancer.
